Brussels / Belgium

My visit to Brussels, in the north-central part of Belgium, the Capital of the country. A place with so many things to see, to do and get lost in its streets. Brussels is the capital of Art Nouveau. This is where architects Victor Horta and Paul Hankar designed the first Art Nouveau buildings in the world: Hotel Tassel and the Maison Hankar. One does not stop walking and looking everywhere observing the wonderful architecture of the city. The Palais Royal, Église Notre-Dame des Victoires du Sablon, St Michael and St Gudula Cathedral square, La Bourse de Bruxelles, Brussels Town Hall... wonders for the art loving eye! Personally, I am also a big fan of surrealist art, so it was essential not to miss the Musée Magritte Museum. I later on also accidentally found the Comics Art Museum with Belgian famous characters like Tintin, such a great discover. And of course, what would it be like to be in Belgium without eating some chocolate or Belgian waffles?
