Since I was little I have adored Photomontage as a technique of art creation. Cutting, gluing, rearranging and overlapping two or many photographs into a new image, creating a new and personal artwork from a lot of small pieces, in addition to being fun, can be a perfect way to create imaginary worlds. With age, with the arrival of computers and editing programs, this technique has opened up new possibilities of even more interest to me. I love to create disturbing, dreamy or futuristic universes and environments. Unfortunately, currently, this technique is a bit despised with the arrival of AI. In my opinion, I consider that the total use of AI in art is not art in itself, nor does it imply the democratization of art (something that is absurd, since anyone has the possibility of launching into it, with any means, although it requires an effort that not everyone is willing to make). In reality, it cannot be called art in itself if it does not entail a learning process and an intention to capture an idea, a concept, an emotion. In fact, replacing the figure of the artist is dehumanizing art itself. Images generated with AI are "something else", let's not call it art, calling it that is not understanding the concept of in no way.
