Kraków & Warszawa / Poland

Kraków and Warszawa, the only trip where I have mixed all the photographs I have taken. Two of Poland's most prominent cities, they offer a unique opportunity to explore the country's rich history, culture, and diverse landscapes.

Kraków is located in the southern part of Poland, and it's the second-largest city in the country. Kraków is renowned for its well-preserved historic Old Town, the Main Market Square, St. Mary's Basilica, Wawel Castle, and the Jewish Quarter (Kazimierz). The Holocaust memorial, Auschwitz-Birkenau, is also close by and is a somber but essential visit to remember the past. Regarding this, I must say that I must be one of the few people, especially photographers, who, out of absolute respect, have not taken a single photograph in this place, for me it seems out of place and not appropriate at all.

Warsaw is the capital and largest city of Poland, situated in the central part of the country. You can easily get between both cities by train. The city is a blend of old and new, a lot of contrasts in terms of architecture, with historic districts like the Old Town, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage site.
