Making of Self-portraits in unique and extraordinary Iceland

It's been less than two weeks since I returned from one of the best trips of my life, if not the best. A two-week trip, from February 23 to March 4, to beautiful, unique and totally unbeatable Iceland. It was a trip that has been a totally enriching experience for me, both on an artistic and personal level, of course it has marked a before and after in my life.

My main reason for the trip was, in addition to personal enjoyment and as it could not be otherwise, the realization of a new photographic project, a project not only focused on the tremendous and impressive landscapes that the country offers, but also focused on self-portraits. An incredible challenge for me, leave the comfort zone of the photo studio where absolutely everything is controllable and immerse myself in totally unpredictable scenarios at the level of climate forecasts and tremendous cold.

I could spend hours writing and telling my experiences and anecdotes lived during the trip, but for now I want to leave you with a small preview of making-of shots of self-portraits taken. It is a small sample in a few locations, obviously not representing all the places I have been. I hope you like the Instagram Reel that I show you and I hope to soon be able to show you more!

Want to see a little more about my journey? During the trip I decided to make daily reels like a little travel journal, showing a small daily summary. You can see them all in the Reels tab of my Instagram (not visible in the main feed).
